Little Notes from "Blink" by Malcom Gladwell

“Blink” by Malcolm Gladwell:

1. Our unconscious has the ability to make good decisions for us quickly and effectively. This could be due to the ability to dig quickly into the recesses of our knowledge and make a comparison.
2. However, sometimes we try to gather as much information as possible and then this actually clouds our decision making, because most of the information are irrelevant. Hence at times, less information is actually more knowledge.
3. There is also the ability to prime our brains for the tasks that we are going to carry out. Like being asked to think how does a professor thinks and works before taking a test can actually improve the tests scores, this could be the case in of NLP endorsed by Anthony Robbins.
4. Another related and similar fact is that the face is not the residue of emotion: emotion can start from the face. That is if we start by smiling, we can affect our internal feelings.

As in his previous book - " The Tipping Point", he talks about very interesting phenomenon but is able to tell you how you can go about achieving that state.
