I had the opportunity to talk to a taxi driver about his previous job . It was interesting to learn that in about 1980s – the days when China just started to open its doors, he worked as a long distance driver who drive new cars to deliver to the client miles away in other cities. It is rather interesting cause by the time the customer actually receives the car, the “new” car has actually clocked so much mileage. Those was the days of the “半开放”China. .
