In the metro of the Shanghai, we do see people giving out phamplets who just walk along the entire train and try to stuff little cards to you. Sometimes, they just throw is on you and they just land up on the floor and seats. The thing is that here, taking a phamplet is like weird behaviour unlike back in Singapore.
Well, the phamplets are often those of the airline companies and i was told they offer super low rates by booking last minute those spare seats on flights of other companies . Hence, if there are no spare seats on those flights, then you will be informed that you will not be able to fly in the last minute on that day!!
If they have such a bad reputation, giving out phamplets this way apparantly will also not change their image. It is indeed a weird world.
