Notes from Kurobe Gorge walk oct 2019

Notes from Kurobe Gorge walk:

  • felt like it is enough already, no more trekking in mind
  • Feel like need to work much less, it is funny how back in school we had 2.5 months of holiday per year and now we are expected to live with at most one month of holiday.

A hiking holiday reduces a day back to the basics - cooking, set up tent, pack up.

Best thing of all - out of service and no whatapps. Actually, even that can be managed - just put it down that you only reply WhatsApp about 3 times a day at work: tea break, lunch and tea break.

Really need to work less and just experience life.

Reading Flow:

  • if he is right, I own my coherent life theme to my Chinese teacher who introduce me to the many heros of Chinese history that I can learn life's direction from.

Only direct control of experience, the ability to derive moment-by-moment enjoyment from everything we do, can overcome the obstacles to fulfillment.
